Housed in part of the church’s building at 55 Illinois Street, the entranceway is conveniently located next to the parking lot. Volunteer tutors are needed from 3 to 5 P.M. daily, except Friday. So put on your thinking caps, sharpen your pencils and help a young student learn to focus on and complete assignments, while (s)he develops the self-discipline essential to success in school and life. |
An RSVP volunteer who began tutoring in October 2009 sent this email:
“I just want to let you know what a wonderful program this is. The children are a delight. I have found my ‘dream’ volunteer project and will be able to be there 4 days a week…”
