Family Services of Central Massachusetts

Family Services Of Central Massachusetts (FSCM) is the local sponsor of RSVP Worcester Area Volunteers.

FSCM has been helping families in our area since 1889. Over the years, it has specialized in providing support, guidance and counseling to individuals and families in need. Families today face multiple, stressful challenges. At Family Services of Central Massachusetts, they provide support services that deal with each of life's many transitions and sometimes overwhelming problems.

As a nonprofit, community agency, FSCM offers affordable rates based on a sliding fee scale. They take pride in serving everyone in the community without regard to ability to pay. In turn, FSCM relies on the community and private donations to allow them to continue to provide quality and vital services.

FSCM Services Include:

  • Counseling
    Individual, group and family counseling to address personal and family issues.
  • Elder Services
    Assistance for seniors and their families in making the decisions and accessing the services they need.
  • Home Care Services
    Support for elders and those needing assistance in maintaining their dignity and independence.
  • Senior Companion Program
    Volunteers who provide individualized care and assistance to frail, often isolated, elders in the community.
